Our application process includes reviewing your rental/mortgage history, employment, credit, and income. Our requirements are similar to renting and less stringent than qualifying for a mortgage.
Trio says you're qualified if:
- You have a job or business that supports your lease payment
- You have a history of paying your bills and housing expenses; we do look at credit scores, but that's not where we start
- If you have had a foreclosure or short sale, we understand. If you have had a job loss or medical issue that made it so you couldn't pay your bills for a while, we understand. You can still qualify — just let us know your story and your situation today.
- If you've had a bankruptcy, we want to know why — you may still qualify. Especially if it was to avoid a foreclosure or resulted from today's economy.
A simple three-page application.
It's not a long, complicated application. Just three pages of basic questions like:
- Name, address, email
- Basic financial information like gross monthly income
- Where you live and for how long
- Where you work and for how long
- Where you'd like to live
- How much you'd like to pay
- Credit card information so we may collect a $45 one-time application fee.
That's it. Filing out a form to get your kids onto a soccer team is more complicated.
